Shopaholics and fashionistas all over the city and maybe Asia, can rejoice and start making some more closet space as H&M – Hennes & Mauritz AB (H&M), is proud to announce the opening of the first and biggest global flagship store in Asia. Standing tall as one of the world’s largest fashion retailers known for offering high fashion and quality basics at affordable prices, it is impossible for us to conceal our glee.
The store is set to open in Hang Lung Centre, Fashion Walk, Causeway Bay in 2015, and will be the biggest store in Asia, spreading across 46,000 square feet.
“We are extremely delighted to have the first global flagship store in Hong Kong, which is to a scale that has never been seen before in Asia. Located in Causeway Bay, one of the most fashionable districts of Hong Kong, it clearly shows H&M’s commitment that our stores are situated in the best locations,” says Magnus Olsson, Country Manager of Greater China and South East Asia at H&M.
H&M entered the Hong Kong market in 2007. Today, there are 12 stores in Hong Kong and 170 stores in Mainland China. Throughout its rapid expansion, the company has been working proactively on environmental and social responsibility, and continues to expand in a sustainable and profitable way. Through its stores, H&M offers a broad product range including the latest trend and inspiration for customers to create a personal style and lucky for us, the stores are refreshed daily with new fashion items.
More information on the store opening will be provided further on, prior to opening. Till then, let’s get a head start on spring cleaning?
