March is looking like a blockbuster month for Bollywood in Hong Kong. People are looking forward to watching movies this Easter holidays and Holi. You dont need to look any further than the Bollywood releases of March 2013 in Hong Kong.

I Me Aur Main – 1st March 2013 ( to be confirmed)

I Me Aur Main –  Ishaan, played by John Abraham is a music producer from Mumbai. Living a sheltered life and being doted on by his mother (Zarina Wahab), his elder sister (Mini Mathur), Ishaan’s life takes a turn for the worse. Living in with his girlfriend Anushka (beautiful Chitrangda Singh), he is overly comfortable with his life. But then a girl called Gauri (Prachi Desai) arrives and teaches him the importance of relationships.

Jolly LLB – 15th March 2013

Jolly LLB is being compared to the Munna Bhai series already. Arshad Warsi plays a brash and unsuccessful lawyer from Meerut. All he wants to do is to become famous and wealthy like his idol, Boman Irani. He gets assigned a case against his idol and soon learns that not everything that glitters is gold. Also starring Amrita Rao, Jolly LLB marks the reunion of Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani after the last Munna Bhai movie. The movie is geared to be the comedy of the year; you wouldn’t want to miss this one.

 Himmatwala – 29th March 2013


If you hav’nt already figured out, Himmatwala is a remake of the Jeetendera and Sridevi action drama movie from 1983. Apparently this 2013 version is also set in 1983 and stars Ajay Devgan. The movie looks to be made in the same vein as the recent one hero throwback to the 80’s, such as Khiladi 786, Dabangg movies and Ajay Devgans last movie Son of Sardar. The movie also stars Tamannaah from south cinema and directed by Sajid Khan. Akshay Kumar is said to have a guest role in the movie as well. The original movie fans are waiting with bated breath to see how the movie will turn up with the 2o13 twist.
