Fill in the Blank presents Our House Festival

Thursday, 17th – Wednesday, 23rd January 2013

Fill in the Blank is the newest creative work space in Hong Kong and this January we are opening the doors to let people see the newest creations Hong Kong has to offer!

Every evening at Our House Festival will have its own theme with local companies showcasing their talents, whether you’re after an evening of laughter, hoping to meet The One, hankering for some live music, or in the mood for our signature Games Night, with something for everyone! Start the year off with something new to talk about the next day!

Festival Outline:

January 17th – The Room
Kick off 2013 with a fun matchmaking session hosted by Da.One

January 18th – The Den
Smiles all around! Stretch it out with Laughing Yoga from Inspiret2Aspire, followed by live stand up comedy from the folks at Comedy.HK

January 19th – The Kitchen
Taste food samples by delivery food service, Something Fresh. Learn about home grown food by Coastline Consulting. Let Dentist’s Kitchen teach you about Indian spices. Beer tasting by Beertopia

January 20th – The Garden
Ready to talk? Meet a few of Hong Kong’s esteemed life coaches ready to help you obtain your goals and unlock the happiness within. Speakers: Mush Panjwani, Ting Ting & Nidhi Kush

January 21st – The Studio
Creatives unite tonight! Sara’s Henna will be doing beautiful temporary tattoos, Wendy Lau will teach origami art followed by Moor Designs showing off scrapboking.  There is also Ruhani Home bringing old India to the growing Hong Kong. Ending the night with a secret tour of Wan Chai with SecretTourHK!

January 22nd – The Theatre
Amazing acoustics! Live tunes from musical duo Nick and Isla, and live act of short stories from Liars’ League. We will end the night with a collection of short films from the Shamiana Short Film Club.

January 23rd – The __________.
Festival finale! Fill in the Blank’s own weekly Games Night! Join us for a round of your favourite board game, a foosball match or some good old PS3 with your friends.

Having lived most of her life in Hong Kong, Kannan moved to Bombay, or as some call it, Mumbai, 7 years ago in the mindset to pursue her studies in fashion designing but fate had other plans and she went ahead with advertising as her major.
