Vi Cool: tapas anyone

On 20th October, the much-awaited Vi Cool opened its doors to the public. Located in Gateway Arcade at Harbour City, the latest venture by Dining Concepts introduces Michelin-starred chef Sergi Arola to Hong Kong, bringing to diners authentic Spanish cuisine, reinterpreting and re-presenting the food to cater to local palates while maintaining the authenticity of the cuisine.

Signature dishes at Vi Cool include cocas, Catalan-style pizza, red pepper shooters and not to mention a wide range of tapas. For the vegetarians, there’s finally a place where you can get meat-free tapas. It was much-needed. The menu includes a Mediterranean pizza, homemade coca bread, vine ripe tomatoes, garlic and Arbequina olive oil as well as fire-smoked eggplant with toasted pine nuts and balsamic vinegar. Incorporating a lot of peppers and spices in their dishes, it caters to Indian palates.

Finally, for those in need of a glass of wine to compliment their meal, the restaurant boasts an extensive wine list for you to select from. Don’t forget to try their homemade desserts too!
