While January didn’t exactly impress as far as Bollywood releases were concerned, we’re hoping February can do some damage control with several promising films coming your way. Here are the Bollywood releases February 2013

David – Friday, February 1st 2013 – Sunday, February 3rd 2013

First up, we have the Neil Nitin Mukesh, Monica Dogra, Vinay Virmani, Isha Sharvani sterrer, David. The plot follows the story of three men whose lives are linked by their name, David. Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, of Shaitan fame, the films is expected to keep audiences enthralled and glued to their seats as the intriguing stories of the three men unfold.

ABCD: Anybody Can Dance – Friday, February 8th 2013 – Sunday, February 10th 2013

Next, we have Remo D’Souza’s second directorial venture and India’s first 3D dance film, ABCD-Anybody Can Dance. Starring Prabhu Deva, Kay Kay Menon and an ensemble league of dancers from popular dance show Dance India Dance, of which D’Souza was previously a judge. The film tells the story of Vishnu (Prabhu Deva), a man who lives to dance and his commitment to training a talented dance squad into the best dancers of the country, through overcoming their personal rivalries and internal demons.

Special 26 –  Friday, February 8th 2013

Also releasing on the 8th February is Akshay Kumar and Manoj Bajpayi starrer, Special Chabbis. The movie is directed by Neeraj Pandey who also directed the critical acclaimed “A Wednesday”. The movie is based on real life events of a band of culprits who robbed many businesses by pretending to be CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) or Income Tax officers. The movie is based in the 1980’s and also stars Anupam Kher, Divya Dutta, Jimmy Shergill and Kajal Agarwal of Singham. The trailers of the movie are generating quite a buzz and the movie looks to be like a wholesome entertainer.
