The Perfect Carrot and Mango Smoothie

Quick and easy to make smoothies can be the perfect way to sneak more fresh fruits, veggies, nuts and fiber into your young ones diet. Loaded with attractive colours smoothies make a fabulous snack for kids that are antioxidant and vitamin rich.
This  smoothie recipe is also very easy to make and your kids are going to love you for this!

Filled with beta carotene this carrot and mango smoothie is the perfect recipe to kick start your young ones day

Ingredients:-

11/2 cups Alphonso mango, cubed (I like to use Alphonso’s as they are in season, you can use any mango you like).

1 cup fresh carrot juice

A dollop of honey

3-4 blanched almonds

1 tablespoon vanilla or plain yoghurt

1/2 cup ice cubes (omit if you don’t want a very cold smoothie )

Preparation:-

Simple, purée ingredients in a blender until smooth.
