Indian Restaurants in Lantau

By on July 20, 2015

When asked about Lantau, most local Indians only know it as a place that a) is really far away and b) has nothing much to do except sightseeing. Well, they are wrong! Yes, Lantau obviously has great tourist attractions and secret getaways that let you escape the city’s madness. But what Lantau also has, is a huge and diverse Indian community and quite a number of Indian eateries to go with it.

To make your next visit more worthwhile and fulfilling (for the tummy), HKYantoYan has listed out for you some Indian restaurants in Lantau:

Lantau Island

Kimos

Not only does the newly refurbished restaurant offer Turkish and Indian dishes, but it also does door delivery within the Tung Chung vicinity on orders above $100. If you’re feeling lazy, you can always dial them up and your order will be at your doorstep in half an hour.

Average price per head: $100

Ebeneezer’s

Ebeneeezer’s is one of Hong Kong’s most well-known eateries and one of the restaurant’s 15 outlets is in Discovery Bay. What’s unique about this outlet is that it is located right next to the Discovery Bay beach, which means you can take your falafels and lassi to go and hit the beach to soak up the sun.

Average price per head: $70 – $100
